BioI'm pursuing my master's degree in physics, am a lab instructor, and am a teaching assistant. I love physics, but sometimes I get too busy (like not having time to eat). Ah, thus is the life of the physics-minded, pulling all-nighters high...on life, then crashing and burning. The cycle perpetually guides me.
Oh, and no, there is no box. Schrodinger just made it up as a structure to help our feeble minds understand quantum mechanics (in my opinion).
